Hello and welcome to the Ohio Valley Camera Club Wiki. A collection of peers with no real hierarchy, we hope you join and participate in our group.
We meet occasionally to shoot and sometimes to learn. Our outings are wide ranging, from traveling for the Sand Hill Crane migration, a day of shooting at Spring Grove cemetary, the studio, or a day at Mid Ohio for some car racing, or, an evening of learning some aspect of photo editing or lighting set ups. Check out the Calendar page on the left to see what's coming up. We also offer a mentor group, (OVCC Mentors) which is now forming, and aims to pair people of need with people of knowledge.
We have members of all skill levels using a wide variety of products. No matter what your skill level is or the type of camera you use, you will fit in.
We also encourage our members to bring friends and family to the meetings and trips, as we are a family friendly group.
The lifeblood of this group is our message board. We encourage you to read it and participate in it a much as possible. This will be the place to get the answers to the questions you have. Don't be shy about participating. Our people don't bite. They're about the friendliest bunch you'll meet, so jump in and participate. That's what we're all about.

Known Issues
Firefox 3.5.x Issues
If you have upgraded to Firefox 3.5 or higher, you may experience problems with the Rich Editor for the wiki. If you do, there is a workaround fix by making a modification to your Firefox configuration. For more information, look at the FCKeditor forums topic Firefox 3.5 Compliancy with FCK Editor. This problem does not seem to occur with earlier versions of Firefox, or with other browsers such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
