Travel Group
Twenty-five of our members came together early 2023 to create a group who share a common interest in traveling throughout our region and periodically, nationally. We will organize one-day and multi-day trips as well as one or two nationally each year. We are proud of the fun and comradery we have experienced to date. Our treks have included:

Summer 2024 “Ohio Caverns” West Liberty, Ohio July 11, 2024
“Ohio Caverns is often recognized as “America’s most colorful caverns.” The caverns are the largest in Ohio, with approximately 1 mile of surveyed passage ranging in depth from 30 feet to 103 feet. In the summer, two different tours take guests through different parts of the caverns.

Spanning over 10,000 acres in southeast Ohio, The Wilds is one of the largest conservation centers in the world.
Spring 2023Native American Mounds and Small Towns May 4 – May 6 Chillicothe Ohio, Parkersburg WVa, Marietta, Ohio
If you enjoy Ohio history, both Native American and the Ohio frontier, and old town charm, this is a delightful getaway. Expect a lot of walking, but not a lot of hilly terrain.
