Travel Group
Twenty-five of our members came together early 2023 to create a group who share a common interest in traveling throughout our region and periodically, nationally. Everyone takes turns coordinating trips with guidance by leadership. We will organize one-day and multi-day trips as well as one or two nationally each year. We are proud of the fun and comradery we have experienced to date. Our treks have included:
Spring 2003 Native American Mounds and Small Towns May 4 – May 6
Chillicothe Ohio, Parkersburg WVa, Marietta, Ohio
If you enjoy Ohio history, both Native American and the Ohio frontier, and old town charm, this is a delightful getaway. Expect a lot of walking, but not a lot of hilly terrain.
Summer “The Wilds Safari” Zanesville, Ohio June 26 & 27th
Spanning over 10,000 acres in southeast Ohio, The Wilds is one of the largest conservation centers in the world.
