Photography Insights from Our Meetings

At the Ohio Valley Camera Club, we foster a vibrant community for photography enthusiasts of all levels. We meet in-person and online during our meetings, which are held on the third Wednesday evening from January through November from 6:30 – 8:30pm EST. Our gatherings are not just about sharing photos; they are an opportunity for learning and growth. Each meeting features professional photographers who present Educational Programs covering various topics in Photography and Processing. For instance, one month we might dive deep into landscape photography techniques, exploring the nuances of lighting and composition, while another session could focus on the intricacies of post-processing images in Lightroom or Photoshop.

In addition to these educational segments, we dedicate time to a constructive critique of our images. Members are encouraged to submit their work for review, allowing for valuable feedback that can enhance their skills and inspire creativity. This interaction creates an environment where both budding photographers and seasoned veterans can share insights, discuss different approaches, and learn from each other’s experiences.
