33rd Bockfest Parade on March 7-9. Cincinnati’s funkiest and most entertaining parade.

March 7 @ 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Bockfest is Cincinnati’s annual celebration of Spring and is Cincinnati’s funkiest and most entertaining parade. One of largest in nation. |
The Bockfest parade is traditionally lead by a goat pulling a keg and the reigning Sausage Queen along with the official parade marshal. This officially marks the beginning of a weekend of festive celebration that might end in blaming a goat on your horizontal position. Goats, the German Renaissance, beer, irreverence, and originality are all highly esteemed aspects of a parade entry. There are no fire trucks for the kids. In the past, entries have included faux-monks pulling a Trojan goat, Goat Busters, German beer bands, keg-men, goats on Segways, Bockalypse, “Bockter” Suess, and patriotic chants of “drink more beer.” The parade will start to form in front of Arnold’s Bar and Grill, located at 210 East 8th Street, step off at 6:00PM. MEET: AT THE ALLEY NEXT TO ARNOLDS BAR at 5:30 pm to catch up on the lay of the land and where best to shoot the parade. Capture several people dressed in Renaissance Costumes, etc. PARK: Paid parking lot entrance off east bound 7th street just east of main street. Walk out onto blocked off 8th street.
