Fred Haaser video of Eclipse event with club members. The last major solar eclipse to pass across the US for many years to come occurred on April 8, 2024. Photos and a video were taken at the Back 40 Campground in Rushylvania, Ohio. This under 10 minute video covers short interviews with some of those who were at the campground and photos between C1 and C4.

Some belated congratulations to all of the Ohio Valley Camera Club members who entered the 36th Annual Montgomery Photo Contest, with winners announced on May 5th. We had winners in the adult category including: “Delirious Feet” by Sharon Naderman, “Mansion” by Rick Lingo, “Eyes of an Old Friend” by Philip Courie, “Pre-Dawn Argument” by Fred Haaser, “Mysterious Initiaion Well” by Alane Shoemaker (prior member), and Adult Best in Show went to “Rainstorm at Kings Island Haunt” by Sharon Naderman and Adult People’s Choice Award to “Pollination Flight” by Lauren Connolly
