EVENING COLLEGE: MIXED-MEDIA TECHNIQUES

April 8 @ 6:30 pm 8:00 pm

EVENING COLLEGE PROGRAM: Classes on Trending Topics of Learning, Presented by national or regional Speakers.

APRIL EVENING COLLEGE CLASS TITLE:  MIXED-MEDIA TECHNIQUES

Mixed media refers to the combination of different artistic materials and techniques in a single work. While traditionally associated with visual art like painting or sculpture, in the context of photography, mixed media often involves integrating photographic images with other media forms. This could include adding textures, paint, drawing, wax, collage, image transfers or torn paper to photographs, creating a layered and dynamic piece. It’s a way to expand beyond traditional photography, offering endless possibilities for creativity and expression by combining photographic elements with other materials to convey new meanings or evoke emotional responses.
