Greenfield Plant Farms has invited OVCC members to photograph their flowers What to expect. They are situated on eight acres at 726 Stephens Rd, Maineville Ohio. They have many greenhouses plus. They raise and sell flowers for the Cincinnati Zoo. Over 200 Annuals and over 500 perennials.

NO ADMISSION FEES. YOU ARE TO REGISTER IN THEIR OFFICE (across from parking lot) AS BEING WITH OVCC. REQUIREMENT: EACH ATTENDEE IS TO DONATE A GOOD IMAGE FOR THEIR PROMOTIONAL USE. SUBMIT BY SAT MAY 11TH. Ideally, 240 + dpi, resolution 2 MB or finer. Process and send along with your name to me at: [email protected].

A TRIPOD AND MACRO LENS ARE SUGGESTED. BONUS: THERE ARE BLUE HERRON NESTS VISIBLE FROM THE BACK OF THEIR PROPERTY.

Their regular operating hours are Mon – Sat 9 to 5 pm and Sundays 11 – 5. WE ARE GOING TO ARRANGE FOR OUR MEETUP TO BE SATURDAY, MAY 4TH FROM 8:30 AM UNTIL 10:30 AM. NOTE THIS IS A SPECIAL ADMISSION TIME PRIOR TO OPENING FOR THE PUBLIC. WE MUST HAVE ASSURANCES AT LEAST A FEW MEMBERS WILL GUARANTEE ARRIVING AROUND 8:30 AM, SO AS NOT TO BRING WORKERS IN EARLY. If you just cannot make it on a Saturday, you are welcome to stop by any time, just expect a lot of people during popular times.
