The 2024 Butterfly Show is inspired by the story of the caterpillars and butterflies taken to the International Space Station in 2009, where they successfully adapted to a zero-gravity environment and became known as “astro-pillars” and “butter-nauts”. Visit Krohn Conservatory’s Butterflies in Space! and learn about the innovative ways butterflies and plants lived high above the planet. We have created a galactic landscape of blossoming plants and beautiful butterflies for you to enjoy. Explore our own take on the space station while the real “stars” of the show flutter and swirl throughout the room like a colorful cloud of stardust. Be sure to visit Krohn Conservatory for a Butterfly Show that is really “out of this world”.

This photography pass is a one-time purchase for admittance to all the Butterfly Show Monday Photo Nights. Space is limited to 50 guests so that tripods/other photography equipment can be used. The pass does not allow entry during normal operating hours.

The tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable.
